I have been a physician for 40 years, 28 years at Corewell Health Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. As of 2026, I have retired from clinical practice, but I am still excited to work in Cystic Fibrosis research.  I am the Pediatric Director of our TDN program (Therapeutic Development Network of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation) and the CF Clinical Research Scientist sponsored by the Hunt for a Cure Foundation.

To earn the "Safe and Affirming" designation, providers individually complete an online training program which includes modules developed by the National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center. For more information, click here.
