I’ve always been drawn to trying to understand hidden things, whether that’s the inside of the human body or how our health is shaped by our environment. As a physician assistant, I get to follow my curiosity every day — most recently, by diving deeper into how mental health therapies and policies can assist my patients in navigating the world.

I seek to deliver thorough, attentive, and consistent care to my patients. One of my biggest goals is for you to consistently feel like your issues are prioritized and addressed. I also make sure to explain my thought process behind every decision so that you can feel more comfortable and confident following my suggestions.

For me, one of the greatest rewards of practicing medicine is hearing the relief in a patient’s voice when they finally know what’s going on, or hearing patients express gratitude simply for being heard. It is such a special and unique feeling to be able to meet people where they are and know that the care I provide is having a positive impact on their lives.

To earn the "Safe and Affirming" designation, providers individually complete an online training program which includes modules developed by the National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center. For more information, click here.
