About the Provider

Thomas 'TJ' Klein, MD, MPH grew up outside of Cleveland, Ohio. He received his undergraduate degree at Princeton University, medical degree at Wright State University and Master of Public Health degree at Harvard University. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland and followed one year of advanced training in global women's health at the University of Michigan.His clinical interests include management of low and high-risk pregnancies, abnormal uterine bleeding, gynecologic conditions, endometriosis, family planning, minimally invasive surgery, LGBTQ health, and transgender/gender-affirming care. He is also interested in international health & human rights, and collaborative cross-cultural medical training. Dr. Klein's research focuses on women's health disparities and healthcare delivery in international settings. He has also worked in various areas of Africa and the Middle East.Outside of medicine, he enjoys travelling, hiking, cooking, and trying new restaurants.

    He’s amazing. Very welcoming and professional, he takes the time to listen to all of my concerns and discusses everything, he’s very transparent and knowledgeable and makes sure all of my questions are answered with a plan in place. I feel very heard and understood at each appointment I have with him.
