About the Provider
Timothy Sparling DNP, RN, AGPCNP-BC, ACHPN, OCN graduated from Wayne State University with a doctorate in nursing practice. He is an Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse 2015, Oncology Certified Nurse 2020, and an End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium trainer.
I believe everyone deserves compassionate, evidence-based care. As a nurse practitioner, I am motivated to improve my patients’ health, advocate for their needs, and help them navigate the health care system when it feels overwhelming. Earning your trust is a privilege I take seriously.
My approach to care is to treat you how I would want to be treated. I believe in shared decision-making and ensuring you know your options before we move forward.
In addition to hospice and palliative care, I have a passion for pharmacology and oncology. Cancer treatment can come with side effects, but when I hear a patient say their symptoms are improving, it always feels like a win for them and my team.
