Vani Koets, MD

Vani Koets, MD attended Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in Lansing, Michigan in 2013. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Spectrum Health Medical Education/Michigan State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2017, and her fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Care at the University of Michigan in 2018. 

Dr Koets will provide you with specialized care – from the time of diagnosis throughout the course of your treatment – optimizing your quality of life by anticipating, managing and preventing suffering. She works with our expanded interdisciplinary team of experts including physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, social workers and chaplains who partner with you and your referring provider to address the physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual needs you may have throughout your illness.

She provides Palliative Care services in the inpatient locations only.
