Waseem Petros, MD grew up living in a region of the world where suffering of people and diseases were extreme. This gave him the motivation, determination and enthusiasm to pursue a medical career with dedication, perseverance, and love of the profession.Medical care, in his view, is based on building a relationship of trust with patients. Taking care of patients and addressing their problems, passionately, meticulously and thoroughly are one of his priorities and objectives. He strives to build an excellent relationship with patients to specifically cultivate a treatment plan that will meet individual patient's needs. He feels that taking care of patients is rewarding especially when he sees the smile of satisfaction on their face and the desired outcome. He works with his patients to achieve their targets, alleviate suffering and continue to help them attain a healthy lifestyle. His medical care, sincere work and diligence come to fruition when he sees patients reaching their goals. Dr. Petros areas of expertise in internal medicine include, but are not limited to, managing chronic issues like high blood pressure, diabetes, heart diseases, gastrointestinal problems, thyroid and lung problems as well as acute illnesses. He has additional expertise in ophthalmology. During his spare time, Dr. Petros enjoys spending time with his wife, socializing with family and friends, traveling and painting.
