William H Devlin, MD

William Devlin, MD, is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine's subspecialty board of Cardiovascular Disease. A graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada, Dr. Devlin obtained his undergraduate degree as a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University in Oxford, England. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital, where he was Chief Medical Resident for one year. He then completed a cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Dr. Devlin is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is a member of the American Heart Association, the Oakland County Medical Society and the Michigan State Medical Society. His research interests include valvular heart disease and hemodynamics. He is currently the Medical Director of the Cardiac Care Unit at Corewell Health Troy Hospital and holds the academic appointment of Associate Professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Dr. Devlin is on the board of the Great Ape Heart Project and acts as the cardiac advisor for orangutans. He practices general and interventional cardiology and sees patients with a variety of cardiology problems and symptoms. He is on staff at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital and Corewell Health Troy Hospital and practices at Michigan Heart Group in Troy and Novi. In addition to his clinical cardiac activity Dr. Devlin is an active member of the clinical ethics group within Corewell Health and performs ethics consults when needed at Troy. Dr. Devlin enjoys a variety sports and traveling with his wife and children.
