I have dedicated my career to researching, diagnosing, and treating disorders of the spine, central and peripheral nervous system, and musculoskeletal system — especially when those conditions cause chronic pain that interferes with daily life.

I embrace a multi-modal approach to pain management, which means that we may use a combination of different kinds of interventions — such as medications, non-medical therapies, or surgery — to target multiple points along the “pain pathway.” This approach can maximize pain relief while reducing reliance on medications. Some of the treatments I am passionate about include electrical nerve stimulation (neuromodulation) and minimally invasive spinal procedures (such as minimally invasive lumbar decompression, Vertiflex, Intracept, and sacroiliac joint fusion).

Patient care brings me joy through the power of partnership. Chronic pain management is rarely a single appointment; it’s a journey we take together. I find great fulfillment in the collaborative process of diagnosing complex conditions and tailoring a plan that works for each individual’s unique goals. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing a patient achieve a level of function they thought was gone for good, and knowing we reached that milestone as a team.
